At the Uplift Climate Conference, we connect, train, and support young people to act for climate justice. We amplify stories from frontline communities and build relationships to support grassroots movements across the Colorado Plateau and greater Southwest.

Uplift is a climate justice conference created for - and by - young people. This gathering brings together rising climate activists and organizers to shape the dialogue of climate justice and conservation within our home landscape. We inspire the passion and community necessary and equip budding change-makers with the skills and vocabulary to build our regional movement for a just and livable future.

This year’s conference will focus on reclaiming our narrative through action, community, and justice. Reclaiming our narrative means telling our own stories and centering narratives that honor deep histories of resistance and resilience. We will reframe our future for climate justice by creating alternative economies, systems, and networks of care to protect our communities in the face of systems of oppression. Join us as we explore these issues among stunning red rock cliffs.

We invite you to save the date for Uplift 2019, September 13-15th at Red Rock Park near Gallup New Mexico! Register now!

The weekend will be energized by inspiring keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and plenty of creative space for organic conversation and connection.

Young people have so much to offer the world. Uplift provides creative space to connect and grow together as we assume leadership roles. It’s a community for young people to speak to each other about the most pressing issues in our real, authentic voices.
